I do not overclock it and am using only XMP profile for 2400MHZ (not shown in pic as i was testing things).
What i have tried so far is a whole brand new RAM kit (obviously a supported one), each dim separately, switched the BIOS to #2, cleared CMOS, mem diagnostic went fine, still same result.Īlso i don't know if this BIOS update had anything to do with voltage or messing with the CPU, but i somehow think it made the CPU a bit sluggish as i get initial lag in games now (could be unrelated, still testing things). Then it would crash on start-up over and over.
CPU Z is reporting it as 933.2 MHz DRAM Freq so 2x933.4MHz which seems to be correct. Just to note I am using a clean install of Windows 10 Professional. I have verified that my bios is up to date and is reporting the correct memory speed 1866MHz. and then it crashed 9x (I have all 9 crash reports). In reply to Jessen Ps post on August 11, 2015. I started a new game, and at first it was fine again. With the newest release on December 15, 2016. If your RAM is showing errors or isn’t being detected, it’s possible that some of the contacts on the DIMM might have gathered dust or some other obstruction. I thought because I used some command codes it might have caused an exception, so I deleted it and started over yet again. I started a new game, and everything was going fine, then it started to crash and crash and crash. I found I could play my old saved game, however I didn't want to play it, as it lacked all the new game features & updates, so I deleted it. So I upgraded my PC recently (windows10 64 pro/ intel i7 6700 CPU 4Ghz/ 8g ddr4 RAM, Nvidia 1070 GPU/ 500g SSD/ Acer Predator XB1 monitor).
